The Just Hobby 1/10 Sedan Nitro Challenge was held on Sunday, May 11th with a total of 44 racers â“ and over 40% were XRAY NT1 drivers. XRAY has become the most popular car in Singapore.
All top drivers were present, making this a very competitive race. After 3 rounds of qualifying, NT1 drivers dominated⦠putting 7 XRAYs in the top 10 position and Top Qualifier going to XRAY driver Erwin Luhur.

In the 45min A-main Final, most drivers got a clean start with Erwin, Nelson and Philip pulling away. At the 4min mark, the top 3 drivers had managed to catch up with some backmarkers. While overtaking a backmarker, Erwin was very unfortunate to the backmarker thus dropping him back to 7th place. Also during the race, Barry, Tom and Jessie all had technical problems and began to drop back while Erwin managed to climb slowly up pack and finally finish in 2nd place. At the end of the race day, XRAY occupied 2 of the 3 podium positions at this very competitive event.
